1About these Terms
1.1These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Cropstalk, also written CropsTalk. Cropstalk includes:
- the Cropstalk website;
- the Cropstalk web dashboard for agricultural advisors;
- the Cropstalk mobile application for farmers, available for Android on Google Play.
Together these are the "Services".
1.2The Services are provided by iFarming Solutions SARL, a limited liability company (société à responsabilité limitée, SARL) registered in the Tunisian National Register of Enterprises (Registre National des Entreprises) under unique identifier 1771859S, with its registered office at Technopole El Ghazala, Raoued 2088, Ariana, Tunisia ("we", "us", "our").
1.3By creating an account or by using the Services, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Services.
1.4Our Agronomic and Service Disclaimer explains the limits of the information shown in the Services. It forms part of these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data.
2Definitions
- "Advisor": an agricultural advisor, or an advisory organisation, that uses the web dashboard to follow farms and plots.
- "Farmer": a person who uses the mobile application to follow the plots of a farm.
- "Account": your personal access to the Services.
- "Plot": an area of a farm registered in the Services, with its boundary and details.
- "Program": the weekly plan that an Advisor builds for a Plot, day by day.
- "Your Content": the information, photos and documents that you enter or send through the Services.
3What the Services do
3.1In the web dashboard, an Advisor follows farms and Plots and builds a Program for each Plot. For each day, the Advisor enters:
- the irrigation dose and duration, and the matching volume for the Plot;
- fertilization products and their doses;
- foliar treatment products and their doses.
The Advisor chooses products from catalogs in the dashboard. The dashboard keeps a dated history of each Plot.
3.2In the mobile application, a Farmer can:
- create an Account with a phone number, confirmed with a code sent to that number;
- register Plots: crop, optional photo, boundary drawn on a map, Plot details, crop details and drip irrigation details, including water salinity;
- see the Program that the Advisor built for each Plot, day by day;
- send a crop stage update with a photo.
3.3The Services are available in French and Arabic. The website is also available in English.
3.4Who decides the Program. The Advisor sets every value of the Program. As provider of the software, we do not choose these values, and we do not calculate the irrigation dose or duration of a Program. The application shows the Farmer the Program that the Advisor submitted.
3.5If a screen shows information computed by Cropstalk, for example from weather data for the location of a Plot, this information is separate from the Program. It is indicative only. It does not replace the Program or the Advisor's decision. Section 8 and the Agronomic and Service Disclaimer apply to it.
3.6Weather. Where the application shows weather information for a date and a location, this information comes from third-party sources and can be incomplete or inaccurate.
3.7Plant disease identification. Where the application offers plant disease identification, you can send a photo of a plant to receive possible identifications. The results are automated suggestions. They can be wrong. They are not a diagnosis and not a treatment recommendation. Ask your Advisor before you act on them.
3.8Analysis documents. Where the application offers it, you can attach a soil, water or other analysis document to a Plot.
4Accounts
4.1Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.
4.2Accurate information. Give accurate information when you create your Account and register Plots. Keep it up to date. The Program depends on the information about the Plot.
4.3Security. Keep your phone and your sign-in details secure. Do not share your Account. Tell us without delay if you think someone else uses your Account, at support@cropstalk.com.
4.4Advisor accounts. Access to the web dashboard requires an Advisor account opened with us.
5Advisors and Farmers
5.1The relationship. A Farmer can be linked to an Advisor in the Services. When a Farmer is linked, the Advisor sees the Farmer's Plots and their Programs, and may also see other information that the Farmer enters for those Plots, such as stage updates with their photos and dates.
5.2Advice comes from the Advisor. The agronomic advice in a Program is the Advisor's advice. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, we are not a party to the agreement between a Farmer and an Advisor.
5.3Our role. We provide the software only. Our team does not provide advisory services to Farmers.
5.4Advisor responsibilities. An Advisor who uses the Services:
- works through Cropstalk only with Farmers who have agreed to work with the Advisor through Cropstalk;
- uses Farmer information only to advise those Farmers;
- checks each Program before submitting it;
- holds any qualification, authorisation or insurance that the law requires for the Advisor's activity, including for advice on plant protection products where the law requires it;
- complies with the rules that apply to the products the Advisor selects.
5.5Farmer responsibilities. A Farmer who uses the Services:
- checks that the Program fits the real conditions of the Plot before applying it;
- reads and follows the label and the instructions of every product, and the rules that apply to it;
- asks the Advisor when something in the Program seems wrong or unclear;
- tells the Advisor about changes on the Plot.
6Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Services against the law or the rights of others;
- give false information or pretend to be someone else;
- access an Account, a Plot or data that is not yours, or try to;
- upload content that is unlawful, harmful or that you have no right to share;
- upload photos of identifiable people without their agreement;
- disrupt, overload or attack the Services, or bypass their security;
- copy, extract or resell data from the Services by automated means;
- copy or reverse engineer the software, except where the law allows it.
7Your Content
7.1You keep your rights in Your Content.
7.2You allow us to host, store, copy, display and transmit Your Content, only to provide the Services to you and to the Advisor or Farmers linked to you, and for the other purposes described in our Privacy Policy. This permission ends when Your Content is deleted.
7.3You confirm that you have the right to share Your Content in the Services.
8Agronomic information
8.1The Services organise and deliver information. Agricultural results depend on many factors outside our control: weather, soil, water, crop, variety, stage, equipment and the way work is done.
8.2We do not guarantee any yield, quality, water saving, cost saving or protection of a crop.

9Third-party services
The Services rely on services of third parties, for example map services. Their availability and content are outside our control. Their own terms can apply to you.
10Prices and payment
10.1These Terms do not set any price.
10.2If access to a Service is paid, the price, the payment method and the duration are those agreed in writing with you, or shown to you, before you pay.
10.3We do not charge Farmers for using the mobile application.
11Availability and changes to the Services
11.1We may change, add or remove features of the Services.
11.2The Services can be unavailable at times, for example for maintenance, updates, or problems of networks or providers. We do not promise uninterrupted access.
12Intellectual property
12.1The software, the website, the Cropstalk name and logo, and their content belong to iFarming Solutions SARL or its licensors.
12.2We give you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Services under these Terms. You receive no other right.
13Suspension and termination
13.1You can stop using the Services at any time. You can ask for the deletion of your Account as explained in our Account and Data Deletion page.
13.2We may suspend or close an Account if it breaches these Terms, creates a security risk, or if the law requires it.
13.3For a paid Service, the written agreement or the terms shown before payment also apply.
14Liability
14.1Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the applicable law does not allow to limit or exclude.
14.2Within the limits allowed by the applicable law:
- we are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of a Program or of information in the Services, since the Advisor sets the Program and the Farmer decides how to apply it;
- we are not liable for indirect losses, such as loss of harvest, income or opportunity;
- we are not liable for problems caused by third-party services, devices or networks.
15Personal data
Our Privacy Policy explains which personal data we process, why, and your rights.
16Changes to these Terms
16.1We may update these Terms. The new version shows its version number and effective date.
16.2If you continue to use the Services after the effective date, the new Terms apply. If you do not accept them, stop using the Services and ask for the deletion of your Account.
17Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Tunisian law. Any dispute relating to these Terms falls within the jurisdiction of the competent Tunisian courts.
18Language versions
These Terms exist in English, French and Arabic. If the versions differ, the Arabic version prevails.
